Nourishing My Body Without Guilt or Restriction
There was a time when every meal felt like a test—too many carbs, not enough protein, guilty for eating dessert. I was constantly stuck in an all-or-nothing mindset, either “eating clean” or feeling like I’d ruined my progress. What finally helped was letting go of extremes and learning to build meals that worked for me, not against me.
Now, I focus on balance. I aim to include protein, fiber, and healthy fats in most meals, but I also leave room for things I enjoy. I stopped labeling foods as “good” or “bad” and started paying attention to how they actually made me feel. That shift made eating less stressful, more intuitive, and way more sustainable.
It’s not perfect every day—but it doesn’t need to be. What matters is showing up, choosing foods that support my energy and goals, and being kind to myself in the process.
